It's been a busy day already. Some nitwit woke me up about 2 this morning with a text message on my cell. I don't know the person who sent it, but she said she was returning my message. Neat trick. I don't know how to text. Anyway since I got an early start, I went to Walmart and bought some energy saving lights,,,some 40 watt and a 60 watt. The 60 went on the front porch. It stays on most of the time since I work at night. The 40's went in the ceiling fan in the kitchen, the bath room, and my light here on the computer desk. The other lamps I have are 3-ways so I can't change them. I need to change the ceiling lights, but I'm not looking forward to it. Most of the big meals for the week are done. This week's menue is cauliflower, yams, ,mexican corn, and roast pork. The 2 others are tuna salad that I'll make a little later. Ice tea is next. All the old Christmas lights are gone from the shed. Got them and the old garland out this morning. Got a couple of new things. I guess most of you struggle with having enough space on you power strip for your computer. Those big transformers tend to take up 2 plugs. Well, I solved the problem today. One of the items I got was a bunch of mini extension cords. You put them on the strip and plug in the transformers at the other end. That way only one plug is used. You can get them online at Harriet Carter for about $10 for a set of 5. Aslo got a lawn sprinkler set up. It has 3 sprinkler heads with lengths of hose in between. There are 4 settings on each head. I've been having a problem watering the front yard. A lot of the water's been going in the street. And it's been a problem watering the sides. Hopefully, this will help. The back yard is so big that there's no problem. So, it's been a busy day with a little more to do. Not bad for a fat boy. By the way, you can see the irsises I talked about in my photo section.
