I've had a few comments about my morning with an orange Hostess cupcake.  I still have fond memories of that glorious morn, but I won't relive it again here.  I don't think I could decribe it any better.  But, let's talk about food.  I think you'll agree that Hostess puts out the most devine cupcakes on earth.  The texture of the cake and icing is superb.  The flavor is by far the best.  The chocolate is just as good.  Their fried pies are the best and their Twinkies far outshine any other imitation.  But I have found a new "sin" to stay away from.  OREO CAKES!!!  Don't try to find them!  If you find them, don't even look at them!  And for God's sake, don't buy one.  They're innocent looking sitting in the vending machine, but they are EVIL.  Take the glorious Oreo flavor and put in a 2 inch cookie,,,take 2 of them and put that wonderful filling between them and there's pure hell!  Stay away!  Stay away!  All sweets are my enemy and I cannot stray any more.On a sadder note.  The experiment with Spam salad is a failure.  The Spam flavor just cannot compete with the celery, bell pepper, sweet relish, miracle whip, and mustard.  I left out the onions or would never have known there was Spam in it.  Alas, it take real ham to make a good salad . I'm wondering about turkey salad now.

At one time I drove the Hostess delivery truck. Now I had to be at work at 3AM, and was lucky if I got home at 7PM. I did this for 3 months. Then went back to school bus driving. Just think of all the twinkies behind my driver seat! I lost about 25 lbs in three months. But the last week after I gave my notice, I sampled. I put on about 40 lbs shortly after that, just loving the twinkies and suzy ques. (forgot how to spell, avoided that part of the store. And I love turkey salad, but never liked spam. Hug to you, Sue

I have to stay away from the evil goodness of Hostess, Drakes, Betty Crocker, Ben & Jerry, and all the other yummy sweets that I love so much. Every once in a while I will indluge but it\'s not as often. My biggest nemesis is the Devil Dog. Appropriate name, eh? Sorry you had to learn the hard way about Spam. LOL!!

When you said it takes a good ham to make a salad, were you referring to yourself? Of actual ham? lol lol lol I love your description of the hostess cakes... don\'t really see those much up here in Canada, but then again i could just be in the wrong places, eh? As for those Oreo.. are you referring to the new Cakesters? I got a gander at the nutritional lookup... OMG those are so full of fat and sugar and calories, i almost had a heart attack just reading the package. I swiftly put those down and ran away! Take care Mike, talk to you later. Hugs and kisses, Deb :0)
