Forgive me Lord and DS for I have sinned.  I partook of an exquisite confection this morning,,,,a Hostess Orange cupcake.  I didn't mean to, but it called to me so early in the morning.  There it was.  On the conveinience store shelf among all the other sweet cakes.  An orange Hostess cupcake.  I emphasize HOSTESS for it is rare in my town.  I haven't seen one in years.  A large bakery dominates all the dough lines here, from bread to buns to english muffins to fried pies and cupcakes.  Their cupcakes are in the vending machine at work.  But they seem old and dry and the flavor is just barely there.  But this Hostess cupcake was moist and creamy.  And the wondrous icing had a marvelous orange flavor.  I got all the big work done so I could take my time with the two jewels of sinfull goodness.  The smell as I unwrapped them.  The gentle stickyness as I held them.  The orange aroma as I took each bite.  It was beyond delicious.  Forgive me Lord and DS for I have sinned.    And I think it was worth it.
