Something good seems to have happened.  The new work schedule seems to be working to my good.  Normally, I only get 4 to 5 hours of sleep on work days.  But now, I'm getting more sleep!  Now, I'm not waking up until the alarm goes off!  I'll have to get used to this.  I've been killing time on the computer.  Now, when I get up, it's all business.  Take Foxy out.  Clean up.  Put the food together.  Get dressed and go to work.  Very little free time.  Foxy's not sure she likes it.  There's not much time for her before I go to work.  I try to make it up to her when I get home after 1 by letting her stay out in the back yard longer and playing with her.  She really likes that.  More time with Rusty, her new little friend and more time totally with me.  I could get to like this shift.I joined the MRSA community the other morning.  It doesn't seem to be very active.  But that would seem normal.  When you have or have had MRSA, you live in fear.  In fear of what it's doing to you while you have it.  And in fear that it will come back again.  Most of you in the type 2 community who have been with me for a while, know of my experience with MRSA and how it still affects me now.  I may, with your indulgence, write a journal on my total experience with MRSA from start to finish so those in my new community can get to know me.But, the big news this morning is that I'm sleeping!  How about that?

Glad the new schedule is good for you and foxy. My sister in Florida had MRSA, it took about 6 tries with different antibiotic, two stays in the hospital before improvement. Her face is still swollen under her eye each morning. The grand daughter, age 6 also came down about one week later. This was about 3 months ago and I understand they are doing much better. And those turkeys are not for Thanksgiving only for viewing. Sleeping is so good for your health and losing weight. But I have a problem must nights unless I take a Tylenol PM. Take care, Sue

I\'m glad you\'re sleeping more. I had a shift change too on my cleaning job. Same hours just earlier in the evening. It\'s better on my sleep schedule, but my cat Maria hates it. She\'s adjusting and Foxy will too. I\'ve never had MRSA but I sanitize a lot because of MRSA on my cleaning job for the school corporation. It still amazes me how little is known publicly about that form of Superbug staph infection. I have a friend from high school that had it, and he had to do rehap and relearn to walk. Take care of yourself. Kim
