It snowed this morning.  Not much.  Just a light dusting to cover the tips of the grass.  It started about 2 this morning, 2 hours before I got off work.  I got to drive home in it.  You can't  imagine how I envy my friends who live up north and get snow every year.  To me, snow is the most beautiful thing God created.  Even better than sunrises and sunsets.  And that's saying something.  To show you what I think of snow, I went to my older sister's home in Illinois just after Christmas, the year they had that record snowfall. I was in my mid 30's. When I got to her house, I went out in the back yard and watched the snow coming down.  She came out and asked what I was doing and I told her I was watching the snow.  She said I'd seen snow before and I told her not that much.  I just watched the big white flakes float down.  The first thing I wanted to do the next day was shovel their driveway.  My brother-in-law thought that was a little odd.  I told him I'd never even seeh a snow shovel, much less shoveled snow.  I had a blast!!  I had so much "fun", he had to force me back in the house saying I was tired.  I didn't feel tired, but I didn't know the effect of 5 degree temperatures on the body.  He was right.  I was tired.  Growing up, I envied the northern kids because they had sleds and ice skates and the pictures I saw of them seemed like they were having a lot of fun.  Santa came in a sliegh for them,,,a stagecoach for us.  My sister's home was on a lake that froze so I got to ride on a snowmobile.  Talk about fun!! Didn't go very fast and 11 year old kids were passing me like I was standing still, but it was fun.  It snowed this morning and it was beautiful.

Now if you are really looking for snow come to upstate NY where we get \"lake effect\" events. We have been getting 4 feet plus in just a couple of days several times this winter. The woods have at least 5 ft. of snow right now. I watched 4 deer really having a hard time walking yesterday. But the bottom line is I LOVE IT, TOO.
