I've removed the photos of my parents.  I think of them every day and seeing the photos every day here  brought back too many memories.  The memories of my dad are not all that good.  We didn't have a very loving relationship.  If you've heard "The Cat's in the Cradle" by Harry Chapin, you'll know that relationship.  I was deeply involved in my mom's later years and her last days.  I know that if she were alive today, she'd be sickened and distressed by me having diabetes.  She worried about that a lot most of my life.  She lived through my bypass surgery and it almost killed her.  My last memory of her is helping carry her casket to the grave.  So, most of you have seen the photos and it's time to put them to rest.  They will always be in my heart.

Good for you, Mike. It\'s good to do an archive of memories sometimes, and putting the pictures away helps. You can always recall them later when you want to. We are here now. This is the day we have, and we are who we are and what we are.

You are the only one who should make this decision, and I can understand. I like your sincere, heartfelt journals. You are REAL!

I relate to that song \"Cats in the Cradle\" too. My dad and I are distant and he complains that his kids never come to see him but when I go all he does is put me down. Now my dau. is grown and it seems she is to busy to give me time too. It makes me sad.
