I've removed the photos of my parents. I think of them every day and seeing the photos every day here brought back too many memories. The memories of my dad are not all that good. We didn't have a very loving relationship. If you've heard "The Cat's in the Cradle" by Harry Chapin, you'll know that relationship. I was deeply involved in my mom's later years and her last days. I know that if she were alive today, she'd be sickened and distressed by me having diabetes. She worried about that a lot most of my life. She lived through my bypass surgery and it almost killed her. My last memory of her is helping carry her casket to the grave. So, most of you have seen the photos and it's time to put them to rest. They will always be in my heart.
