My skin is being ravaged.  Eczema has attacked my legs with a vengence.  Large red patches have turned my lower legs into itching areas of agony.  The pain was so bad I thought the MRSA had come back.  Luckily, I've got enough ointment to get it under control and, hopefully get rid of it for a while.   And the combination of eczema and dry skin has turned my fingers into bloody points of pain.  I had to put a rubber glove on my right hand last night at work because my fingers were bleeding on the computer keyboards.  It came on really fast this time with little warning.   A combination of the eczema ointment and hand lotion may take care of my hands.  I hate what my skin does to me.  It raises fear in my co-workers and hinders my work.  And the pain gets in my way.  Why did I have to get all this so late in life?  It would have been easier to deal with it when I was younger so my later years would have been better.  What other trials lie ahead?  And can I deal with them?  I'm beginning to wonder about my quality of life.

Hi Mike,
Sorry to hear what you are going through. I am sure you will get it under control soon. Wish we could decide our lot in life but we can\'t.
I was born with an arthritic condition that eventually fuses the spine. And 7 years ago all I had to deal with was that and HBP. Now along with those I have to deal with high cholesterol and diaabetes. What else lay ahead for me only God knows. My hope is that this is it. But whatever else comes I will be ready to fight
it.
I retired at age 62 because of the pain from the arthritis my co-workers said I was slow and I realized I was in too much everyday to keep up. I don\'t regret my decision. Hope your co-workers will understand.
Keep the faith
Doreen

I understand the pain of cracked fingers. I have two on my right thumb in the corners by the nail and it\'s been there over a week. Surprising how important that thumb is. I have used a lot of things on it but it persists. And who know what lays ahead but I am hoping you can deal with them. Sue
