Well, I did it! Well, I almost did it. I've been thinking about shaving my beard off. I get this urge about twice a year and if I relent to it, I regret it. I don't like my face without at least a little hair on it. I feel naked. There's nothing to hide behind. Well, I shaved the sides off this morning and left a big goatee and mustasch. Looked in the mirror and you know what? My jaw line is straight!! Not rounded like before! I guess the weight loss is showing. You should have seen the wad of hair that I cut off! It would have choked a horse. The sides had been sticking out almost 2 inches from my face. Vickie was supposed to come by yesterday. She came to town for the funeral of a close friend's mother-in-law. I waited and waited. Kept my street clothes on all day! Normally, When I'm at home I wear sweat pants and shirt or t-shirt. Called her last night and she said she'd come by and didn't see any lights on so she thought I was asleep. I seldom use lights during the day. i was really looking forward to seeing her.How about something light? The following are actual announcements taken from church bulletins.
