Well, today has been a bit of an upper.  Nice change.  With your permission, I'll ramble a bit.  Got my meds in the mail today.  What a sight!  Three months worth of all the meds I take.  You ought to see the huge bottle of Janumet!  So, I'm good to go.  Everything that needed to get done is done.  The laundry has been folded.  The ice tea concentrate is in the fridge.  The meals for the week have been cooked and packaged, including the tuna salad.  I've added something to the salad,,,sliced black olives.  Tried the chopped ones last week and it was good, but wanted a bigger olive flavor.  Again, with all that I put with the tuna, I've made more than will be used for the 2 meals this week, so I'll have some tonight for supper.  Cleaned the house a bit on my days off.  Looks and smells a bit better.  Still need to clean the stove, but it's going to be a big job and I'm afraid to start.  But, I never seem to keep caught up on washing the dishes.  I wash a load and within a few minutes or hours, there's another load to do.  Paper plates and plastic untensils are becoming a thought. Still haven't heard from my job about the problem I'm having.  Kinda dread going to work tomorrow.  Foxy's been in a rare mood.  She's been wanting to get in my lap several times a day.  It's only for a short time,  but she seems happy when she gets down.   She's always welcome.  I've been noticing her little quirks.  She does kinda of an odd thing when she's on her couch.  And it IS HER couch.  She gets uptight when I sit on it.  I looked over at her one time and she was laying on her back and looking at me.  She looks so funny when she does that.  I've had a chance to play with her in the back yard and we've had fun playing with her Christmas present, a big, red, knobby, rubber football.  So, pardon my rambling.  I'll be back a little later tonight.

Glad to see the smile in your words. When we get caught up on chores and have managed the food, pills, etc. for a week or month it makes ya happy. Love to hear about a happy dog too. I have two that make my life.

Hi Mike. It\'s great how you got everything done so quickly. I like it when the prep work is through and the laundry is put away and then I can take a big breath and exhale. Foxy loves you so much, and I bet she can sense your feelings and she\'s happy that you\'re feeling better. That must be so sweet. Let us know how the job situation is going. Sue

Hi Mike,
Glad to see you have changed your mood. I am smiling because you are smiling and I am really happy for you, glad you have a good supply of meds, and you are back on tract with your meals.
I refuse to change a lot of things in my diet. for me sugar, fat and portions are what I am looking at. Of course I have always tried to eat healthy.
Speaking of the price of food today at my HEB extra large eggs are $3.49 the large $1.97 I didn\'t buy either. I figure since I only eat eggs once a week and I put a lot of yolks down the disposal why bother. When I first saw a dietician with all of the food she wanted me to eat I had so many dishes I thought of going to paper plates. I do use them when I have pizza like today and hamburgers and things that are cold.
Forget to tell you I am glad to see Foxy is feeling happy.
Hope things work out at work.
Take care
Doreen
