Well, another year has come and gone. It's amazing how fast the years go by as you get older. I slept through the new year. Well, at least, I tried. Foxy woke me up at midnight barking and howling at the fireworks that were going off around the neighborhood. Some of them I couldn't hear. I made Hoppin John and had a big bowl of it. Gave some to Foxy. So with both of us having blackeyed peas, maybe our good luck will double. Got a lot done today which is good since I slept off and on for most of Sunday. Looking back on the passed year, it was better than the year before, except for learning I had diabetes. But that, in a way, was good for me. I'm taking better care of myself because of it and I've gotten a bunch of new friends here on DS. Thank you for being my friends. May God bless you all.
