Well, Christmas is over. I'm sitting here with the usual cigarette, but a cup of instant hot spiced cider. Cider's been a tradition of mine since I learned how to make it. I used to make it for the informal company Christmas party. Made the building smell great. Nowadays with the cost of the fixins so high, I can't afford to make it so the instant will have to do. Today's really been a nothin day. Spent most of it sleeping. This is the first day off since last Wednesday and the only one off till Sunday. I'm too old to do this anymore. I need a crash day. Christmas started early this morning. A little after 4. I gave Foxy her present. A big red rubber knobby football she can play with outside. She usually gets a big hedgehog but I couldn't find one this year. Last year, she got nothing. She seems to really like it. It squeaks and she loves that. Opened up my presents from my sisters. Got some good movies and some shirts. Had planned on watching the movies all day, but kept falling asleep. Put out my present to the birds and squirrels this morning. Some mixed nuts still n the shell. It's fun to see which ones go first. Got an email from Sara today. She said she hoped my present got here on time. Just in time. Christmas Eve. I'll call her when I get finished here. All things Christmas will be eliminated from my site in the next few days,,,the cardsand pictures from the photo section and the stories from my journals. Hope yall enjoyed them as much as I did putting them it. Hope yall had a good Christmas.

I will miss them, and have copied several, a real reminder of my own Christmas past. And I have loved the collection of older cards. My doggies only get a big hug on Christmas, they have never liked toys. Maybe it\'s because they have each other. I read very recently that even some dog toys made in China are not safe. Looks like they are making our kids and dogs sick ( our love ones). Please continue sharing any stories of your past. Thank you and Happy New Year.
Hi Mike. Happy after Christmas! Thanks for making this Christmas extra special. You are a great friend!!! I hope you get a change in your schedule so you can have more crash time.
