Well, next week is going to be rough. Found out Wednesday that I was scheduled to work Christmas Eve. There had been a problem with the original schedule. Thursday, I found out I'd misread my schedule and I'm working this Sunday. That means the only day off I'll have next week will be Christmas Day. Merry Christmas! I went from having Christmas Eve and Day off and my normal three days off, to having only one day off. That means I'll have to do my laundry as soon as I get off Monday morning and go right to bed when I get home. It, also means that I'll have to do a good part of my Christmas cooking when I get off the next few mornings. I've got the cornbread for the dressing in the oven right now. I'll make the dressing Saturday or Sunday morning. The rest of the meal can be done Christmas Day. Well, I can always use the overtime. I figure with the holiday pay, I'll get paid for seven days next week. Not bad. Went off my diet last night. Usually, I have a sandwich around 11:30, but apparently the news department had pizza and had the leftovers in the break room. I couldn't resist. I seldom get restaurant pizz, so I grabed a few slices. I have the sandwich I made for breakfast this morning. That way I don't have cook anything but the cornbread this morning. That pizza sure tasted good. Oh well, things could be worse.

Yup, money is nice this time of the year. Little time left, don\'t let the stress spin you to quick eating foods, instead of healthy food. I bought clementine oranges yesterday, quick and small and sweet. It\'s sunny, 23 degrees, and the snow is glistening. Hope you have a good day.
So sorry you will not have more time off. But the main thing is you do have a job.
My son in picking me up Sundy night or Monday for a family get together Christmas Eve for eggnog cheesecake and cookies.
I was trying to picture myself sitting there watching everyone enjoying that stuff while I sipped water and eat crackers.
I say no way I will start with Carb blockers and indulge in some of the goodies in limited portions. No need to test. Will start back on my diabetic diet day after Christmas.
Hope your Christmas meal turn out great. And you will enjoy your Christmas day.
Blessings
