"You Time" I just had some "You Time". You Time is time that is all Foxy's. That's what I call it and she recognizes. Usually, it's time spent as I sit at the foot of the bed and she gets up and does whatever she wants with me. Most of the time it starts with her rubbing up against my back. I reach back with both hands and kinda give her a back rub as she slides passed. She'll slide around to the 3 sides she can get to and maybe, come around and give me a kiss. Then, if she's in the mood, we'll do a little roughhousing. It's up to her. Sometimes, I'll see her laying on the bed and ask her if she wants some you time and we go from there. Other times, she'll come to me wherever I am in the house and give me "the look" and we'll head to the bed or maybe if I'm in the recliner, she'll pick up her rope and we'll have a tug of war. Then, there are times she wants you time while I'm getting ready for work. I have to stop. Except for the work times, I'll spend as much time as she wants. She'll tell me when it's over. She'll just walk away. But now, I have another you time. The time I spend with you. Now, don't think I'm comparing my time with you to the time I spend with Foxy. Remember, I've known Foxy longer than I've known you. But the title, "You Time" is appropriate for both you and Foxy. They are times I look forward to and miss if I don't have them. They are very special times to me,,,,spending time with people who are very special to me and can't live without. I receive support and joy from both times. On another note, there are 2 new photos in my section. One of my dad and me during basic training. He and my mom came down after I told them I was getting out of the air force. As you can see by his posture, he was not very happy I'd failed basic training. Another letdown for my dad. The second is Christmas Day. As you can see, I was fat even at that age. I still have that road grader. It sits on the top of my bookcase in the computer room. I had planned on giving it to my son, so it's still with me since I have no kids. One of my many failures.

Oh dear Mike, I\'m so glad that we can have \"you time\" and for this journal. It has really helped to get to know you a little better. Please don\'t ever feel like you have been a failure. I would never see you that way, even if you do in some ways, I think you may misunderstand yourself? You are very special to me and you are one of the few people who I always look forward to hearing from when I get on DS. You have helped my life so much and how kind of you to say I should change my name to \"healingspirit\" b/c I\'ve helped you, but I really don\'t know how I\'ve ever helped you but if so, I\'m forever thankful for that. Another person had already suggested \"healingspirit\" a month or so ago on a msg so I know that you didn\'t know that, but sadly that name is taken so maybe you will help me figure out a new name? That\'s if Doug will let me change it.
I will read your other \"colorful\" journals - love the red, then green, then red... theme you have going. Reminds me of things I usually do :D
I really hope to be able to spend some time with you on here on Christmas, I\'m not sure what will happen here yet, but will let you know asap. (((((BIG HUGS))))))
