Well, it was an interesting day today. Good news, the birds are finally coming to my feeders. They'd better after the extra lures I put out for them. I added a bunch of grapes to the baquet. Put them in the pumpkin pie plate. Noticed a couple of honey bees were trying the pie. Made my first bacon grease bird treat. Guess I'll have to eat more tuna to get the cans for it. Read a journal this morning that a woman wrote about her best friend,,her dog,and it got me to thinking about Foxy. As if I don't think of her enough. I've had 3 very special pets in my life,,a parakeet named Charley, a cat named Misty, and now,Foxy. Foxy is very special to me. She knows my every move and my every mood. She scares me sometimes with what she knows. She knows when I'm going to get up. The sound of the manual canopener. That sound sometimes means I'm opening a can of food for her. A treat! She normally eats dry food. She knows the sound of cheese wrappers being torn open. Whether it be the wrapper of the chunk of cheese for my snacks, the zipper of the storage bag that keeps the cheese afterward, or the opening of an American cheese wrapper. She knows when bacon is frying and knows she's going to get a slice. I have a running joke about her. That she sleeps closer to me than my ex-wife. But, now, she's learned some new sounds. The sounds of this computer. Sounds I can't hear or don't notice. I cut the sound off when I shut down the computer because she learned that sound and I didn't want her coming in the computer room when she didn't need to. But now, she's learned the "clicks" of the shut down. I don't what I would do without her. Her unreserved love for me. Her concern when I'm sick. Her moods of playfulness. Her little sick times that she doesn't want me to know about. But, I know them. I've got some new photos if you haven't ckecked today. You'll see a good bit of my life there. Several versions of this fat slob in his younger days. I watched TV for the first time in over a year. Yep, the cable guy came out and connected it. He had to rewire it and it took about an hour. Odd, watching TV here. And one bad thing happened. I got my first high BS reading, 203. Knew it was coming. I stretched the limit with supper,,,a big bowl of shredded wheat squares and half a Hershey almond bar. What else would I expect? So, overall, it's been a good day. Hope yall had a good one too.

Foxy sounds like such a great friend. I love what you\'re doing for the birds! I hope your BS reading has returned to the usual greatness!
I\'m glad your wild birds are eating from your feeders now. They are fun to watch. Foxy is such
a love, and so smart. I know all about blowing
BGs with eating sweets, I am guilty of this too.
Thanks for the nice comment about my story I wrote.
Love the pictures you posted of your past.
Keep in touch!!! Love, Shell xoxoxoxoxo
