It's been a miserable day.  It's cold.  The highest it's gotten has been 41 degrees.  And it's raining.  Has been for more than 24 hours now.  Not a heavy rain.  I think we got a little less than an inch yesterday.  It's just been constant. One good thing about the rain is that I've gotten to test my new coat.  It's come through with flying colors.  It really kept out the rain and the hood is fantastic.  I've been sleepy and tired ever since I got home a little after 4 this morning.  Been dozing all day.  Part of it is from the lack of sleep during the week.  Still not getting more than 6 hours during the work week. Another part of it is I don't drink as much caffiene on my days off.  I don't drink iced tea on my days off and that's a substantial amount of caffiene not in my system.  I'm totally addicted to the stuff, consuming at least 8 cups of coffee, about a half gallon of tea and, at least one Coke Zero a day.  I can tell winter's coming on.  My fingers are starting to crack.  It happens every fall and winter.  My hands dry out and the tips of my fingers split open.  It will be a constant battle to stop it.  Add the eczema that hits my hands and other parts of the body and I'm in pain a good part of the season.  It happens every year and I always wait till it hurts to start doing anything about it.  My fingers will get so bad that I will have trouble writing.  It'll be fun.

Mike noooo! Don\'t wait til it hurts!!! My hands are already drying up too and I use Gold Bond moisture cream. It helps a LOT. I don\'t want you to hurt!!! On an other related topic, I have decided to stop drinking coffee altogether. I\'ve switched to one cup of tea in the morning. I drink water all day long, and at night I treat myself to a coke zero with dinner. Yes, I have a headache.
