I had a good cry this morning.  I got down my mom's Bible for a project I'll tell you about later in this entry.  That old Bible was stuffed with memories.  There were small strips of paper with Bible verses on them from a Sunday School class,,various book marks, including a thin copper one that I can't recall never seeing,,2 booklets titled, "Why Sex is Only for Marriage", guess she was worried about Vickie and me,,a small bulletin from for the funeral of a dear family friend,,a church bulletin from my first sermon at our church, she was really proud of me,,a big birthday card to her from my dad, he signed it, "With lots of Q-", did he leave out "love"?,,and last, but not least, 2 dried flowers wrapped in a paper towel, from my dad's grave.  Memories.  Memories I forgot she had.  The tears are coming again as I type this.  Do save memories?  Little tokens of life?  If not, start now.  If not for you, for your kids. And now, why I got the Bible down.  You will see 2 new photos in my profile.  They are my Christmas gifts to you.  Both of them are mine.  School projects from many years ago. The originals were 8x10's   I won't tell you how I made them unless you ask.  Just let me put your mind at ease about the black and white photo.  You won't see a Bible like this.  It was an old one that was going to be thrown away, so I cut some pages to get the affect.  I will say this again when the time is closer,  "HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS".

Thanks so much for sharing this with us. I do treasure memories. I always cry when I hear the song, \"Precious Memories\", yes, how they linger.
I hope you will have a wonderful season and will have many reasons to smile and be happy. I\'m proud of you. Love, Denise
