Well, this has been an unbusy busy day.  Been up since 3 this morning.  Got a lesson in time and money at the laundromat.  I bought some big towels a few weeks ago.  Thought they were the same size as my old ones, but they're 4 inches longer than the old ones.  That's a good thing when it comes to drying this tub of lard I'm in, but it means a week's worth won't fit into one washer.  Well, this morning, I put them all in a double washer.  What I didn't notice was that also meant double time.  Sooooo, the rest of my laundry were  a long, long time  finished before the towels were.(The Dallas Stars just beat the LA Kings 3-0.  GO STARS!!  Been listening to the game.  Sorry about that.  It had to be said.)  Now, using the double washer costs me a dollar less than using 2 smaller washers.  That's a good thing.  But, yall know I'm a time freak.  Sooo, that's the last double washer use.  I was 30 minutes later getting home.  Rather have the time than the money.  That's why I started using this all-night laudromat when my regular one started opening at 7AM.  Anyway, put the car in the shop this morning and I was stuck in the house all day.  Gave them my cell phone number so they could get hold of me while I was on the internet.  You know.  Hanging around here.  About 4:30 this afternoon, I called the shop and they told me they'd been trying to get hold of me with no luck.  Couldn't figure why I didn't get the call until I called myself and couldn't get hold of me.  I was in the same room as myself and myself didn't hear a ring.  Started looking around and found that I had given them the wrong number.  Uh-huh.  How did I know?  I never call myself ordinarily.  I usually know where he is.  My little station wagon gave the mechanic fits.  Went in there because I knew I'd blown a fuse that took out my dome light, radio, and fan for the AC and heater.  I wasn't going through this winter without the fan.  It's dangerous.  I amd myself know from experience last year.  Well, the blown fuse was caused by a short in the wiring at the back of the car.  Now, I have a radio, tape player, dome light, back hatch light and the back window washer works.  Haven't had that washer in years.  Also got the engine belts replaced.  They were nice enough to work passed closing to finish the job.  And I say this in all sincerity,  God gave me the money for the repairs.  Whenever I needed repairs, I've had the money.  I am blessed and He knows I appreciate it.
