Well, it's been a fruitful 3 days off. I go back to work tomorrow afternoon.  Actually have the same shift for the next 4 days. That'll make it easier for me.  Got Foxy fixed up Sunday with her claws clipped and a new name tag. Also got a new wild bird feeder and set and another one outside my window. Still no birds.  Popped some popcorn this morning and spread it under the feeders thinking the birds might see it and come in. They didn't. Monday, I did the laundry, cooked a roast and the veggies I'll be eating at work. Portioned them out in their containers and put them in the fridge. Today, Tuesday, I finally got to the podiatrist. He whittled the callous down, made the hole larger in the innersole I've been using, and made an adjustment to the innersole in the shoe.  I can, finally, walk without pain for the first times in months. I told him I'd been using those callous removal discs, and the callous rings to keep it under control, but was worried about the affect diabetes would have on them. He strongly recommended that I not use them anymore. That the acid in the disc could go all the way to the bone in the foot and the glue on the rings could take the skin off with the ring when it's removed.(Did that to me. That's another reason I quite using them.)  He, also, prescribed diabetic shoes. I looked into them and my insurance won't pay for them.  $226 for one pair!!  Luckily, he said the shoes I'm wearing will do for now.  Got my iced tea concentrate made the grapes washed and the tuna salad made, so I'm ready, foodwise, for work. Now, all I've got to do is stay up late tonight, sleep a few hours, and grab a bite to eat when I wake, go backto sleep, and I will have made the transition back to the work schedule. I was thinking today,(Yes, I actually think sometimes!  Not too much though.  I get a headache.),I don't eat as much on my days off as I do at work. I know that sounds strange, but, there's a lot of times at work where we waiting for the next project to come in and there'a not a whole lot to do. On my days off,I'm either on the computer or doing something around the house. But,I smoke more on my days off. The computer is killing me. I constantly smoke while on it,(In fact, I've got a cigarrette going right now.)  At work, there's limited time to smoke and it has to be outside.  So, I've had some productive days off and I'm happy.
