Just an update
It's been since 2014 since I wrote an entry and I felt I should share my progress. Since my last post, I have had a lot of positive changes. First, my husband and I have started building and moved into a new home. It is still far from finished but it is so wonderful to have. Secondly, my panic attacks have lessened and I have actually decreased my Lexapro dosage from 30mg daily to 20mg daily and have started going to biweekly psychotherapy again. My overall physical health has also improved but I still have a good amount of back, hip, and foot pain regularly. I had to increase my dosage of Synthroid because my thyroid was not working properly again and my stomach bothers me just as much if not more than in the past but I am optimistic that hopefully sometime soon that will get straightened out.
I have come to the point now in my career that I have a set schedule and have seniority. I know that my work schedule not being so demanding has helped improve my physical and emotional well being. I also know that if it weren't for my amazing support system (my husband, my mom, my dad, and my sister) I wouldn't be where I am at this point. I have found that the more I meditate and the more deep breathing exercises I do reduces my anxiety tremendously.
I am hopeful for my future. I am hopeful for more improvement. I finally feel good about me!
