Update

Well ladies I have not journaled in a long time.  Really didn't have much to say.  I really envy and enjoy people that do it every day.  I feel my life is pretty boring.  Not very interesting.   Here are a few things that have been going on.  As most of you know it was my DIL Sara's baby shower on Sat.  It was great fun to see all those cute little pink things.  She had a lot of the big stuff from Christian, so she really ddn't need a whole lot of things, so most people bought clothes and blankets.  So precious.  The only hiccup of the day for me was the google map and directions I printed out.  It was totally wrong.  It said to make a left on Duncan Rd.  I thought, I know where that is.  This should be a snap.  Well I turned onto Duncan Rd. but none of the streets they said to turn on off that Rd, were not there and of all days to forget my phone.  I left it at home on the charger.  I stopped at a business on the corner to make some phone calls and finally got Kim on the phone.  Kim is Sara's girlfriend whose house it was at.  Anyone who did a google map did what I did.  Anyway you were supposed to turn on Cutten Rd, not Duncan.  Not too far from there, but still.  You could have never found it from the google instructions.  All in all the shower was fun and the cake  was delicious. I think I found something I want to try.  As you all know I don't like the part-time job I am doing.  I had been seeing so much lately about Avon.  I have tried it awhile back but really did not do anything with it.  They talked about it on Good Morning American.  This one lady was making $500 a week.  They said no matter what women are going to buy cosmetics, even in a recession.  Now I know I am not going to make that much money, and I will not quit my day job until I am sure of making at least a little.  I really can't make too much anyway because of SS.   When you take SS at 62 you are not allowed to make too much.  I know it will take a little while to get it up and running.  Now with the internet, it makes it a little easier.  Plus you can get people to sell under you and make a little off what they sell.  So I am going to give it a shot.  Here is my web site. http://www.youravon.com/aposluszny Take a look.  Avon has changed a lot. This year I am looking forward to Christmas.  Last year I felf so lousy.  I was still going thru chemo and had no Christmas spirit whatsoever.  Hardly did any decorating.  This year Thank God I feel great and plan to make up for last year.  Now with Avon I plan to get some things from there for those people I never know to get. I have my next check up Nov 19th.  Not getting nervous yet, but I will. Love to all my DS sisters.Anita

Anita if I had money I\'d love to buy something from you. LOL But I would also be interested in selling Avon online like you are. How do I go about getting into something like that. Could you help me out?

Sure. Just go to www.start.youravon.com and put in d1643 for your code. You would be under me. It does cost $20 to get started but you can make that back right away.

I sell Avon, and with very little effort I clear anywhere between $20-150/month. I started off with a bang-making around $200, almost a year ago, but I slowed down through the summer. I can see things picking back up with Christmas coming. Good luck! I have fun with it!

Good for you, Anita! You\'re trying a new line of work. And you\'re right--women will buy cosmetics regardless of a recession. I mean, no matter what the stock market does..don\'t take away the lipstick, you know?! I think this is a perfect time to get into Avon products, because Christmas is a good time for people to buy. I wish you much success!..most importantly..I hope you have fun with it!

I know where you are coming from about not journalizing all the time. I feel the same way, I would love to be able to post something everyday but I feel that it would be the same old boring stuff. Good luck on your Avon adventure. I just bought some from an outlet mall but if I need something else I will check it out. Have fun with it!
