Well it is official. Sara is 7 weeks pregnant. Her due date is Jan. 9th. They did do an Ultra Sound but it is too soon to even see it. She goes back in 4 weeks so by then we should be able to tell the sex. Sara decided to stay with this doctor because HELP syndrome is one of her specialties. She has to treck all the way down to Texas Womens, but she feels more at ease with this doctor. HELP syndrome is one of her specialties. About 10% of her patients have it. It is in the Medical Center of Houston which is about a 45 min. ride. I guess if you are having a high rishk pregnancy that is the place to be. It is okay but can seem pretty long when you are in labor. Last time she had one false labor and missed her baby shower. Christian and I had a ball today. We went to the park but it was very hot today, so we did not stay too long. I gave him lunch and tried to put him down for a nap, but he wasn't having that. Of course grandma is a push over, and did not mind a bit. More time to play with him. He is so good, and has such a pleasant personality. Such a joy. Pretty soon there will be another one to love. Take Care, Anita

I forgot to say the only problem with him is that he terrorizes the cats. They have two. One doesn\'t mind the assaults and is very pleasant, but the other one retaliates. Good thing he mostly hides from Christian. He throws things at them and tries to sit on them. Never really hurts them, but he has to learn not to do those things.
I can just picture Christian with the cats by your description. It is one of those things you want to laugh at, but know you shouldn\'t becasue it just encourages the behavior. Glad you were able to make it to the park. Will you reschedule the zoo when Sara is feeling better, or does she need to rest since she is at high risk.
I loved your pics with your delightful grandson . It really lifts the heart to see the little angels at play , although the family cat may think otherwise !

Yes it is funny to watch him with the cats. It is all I can do not to laugh. One of the cats is named Bo Bo, so he will yell Bo Bo!. Then pick something up and throw it at him. Nothing heavy. Usually a ball or something.
My son is off every other Friday, so we will have to see how Sara feels next Friday. She is sicker this time than she was with Christian.
Congratulations!!!! Yes, now you will have two grandchildren to love!!!! Christian sounds like a typical little boy with the cats!!! So cute!!! I would have a hard time not laughing at that too!!! LOLOLOL If you don\'t mind me asking ..................silly question but...........what does HELP stand for????
\"HELLP is an acronym for Hemolysis (breakup of red blood cells), Elevated Liver enzymes (a measure of liver damage) and Low Platelets (platelets are particles in blood that keep our blood vessels from becoming too leaky). A variation of pre-eclampsia/eclampsia (also called PIH, pregnancy induced hypertension), this syndrome causes Mom to become very sick and places the baby at risk.
Pre-eclampsia/eclampsia is most common in first pregnancies; it can recur in subsequent pregnancies. The etiology remains unknown. One can be watchful, but one cannot prevent this entity.\"
We will all be praying and wishing for a safe pregnancy for Sara and all will be fine.. You are going to be so in demand with double trouble on your hands and you will love it so much.. This is going to be so great to follow.. loads of love and all the best to you and the family.. xxx
Oh my, what great fun to have the grandkids! Mac and I were just out on our back deck, sorting out where the children\'s outdoor table should be and whether or no we should get a little pool before Oliver arrives.
I will also be sending out all sorts of good thoughts towards your daughter-in-law. It\'s great that there is such an awareness of these things today. Maybe Christian will have a little sister?
My own daughter-in-law was telling me the other day that our eldest Mazie (5) was telling her little sister Tilly (2) in the car...\"we are so happy that you are in our family, Tilly. We love you.\" How cute, huh? I cannot recall the same sort of treatment as I had to older brothers more likely to bonk me on the head than compliment me! ha ha.
hugs and good thoughts your way...lindmae
