Happy Easter All,  I wish you all a wonderful Day.  I will be spending it with my family.  Cannot wait to see Christian.  He is such a joy in my life.  I received my packet from the National Advocate Foundation, and I was very disappointed.  All it talked about was doing letter and email campaigns to the legislators about Health Care Reform, which I don’t mind doing because I believe in the cause, but what I really want to do is help people on a one on one basis.  I wrote an email to the coordinator of the foundation explaining what I want to do.  If I don’t hear back in a couple of days I will try calling.  I was helped by a Patient Advocate during my plight.  She contacted the drug companies to pay for the last two of my chemo treatment.  I believe it is the same organization.  I received a very touching message from ncnurse.  I hope she doesn’t mind my sharing this with everyone, but it was so touching to me I felt I needed to.  She said that I inspired her to do something also.  She is starting a support group in her area for her ailment.  I cannot tell you how much that touched me.  Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we all could do something for someone else.  I am reminded of an incident that happened to me years and years and…….years ago.  I was on a lonely isolated country road when I got a flat tire.  Now this was before the days of cell phones.  There was no traffic on the road, then suddenly a car happened by with a young boy.  He said he was  on his way back to college.  He fixed my flat tire.  I wanted to pay him, but I didn’t have any cash on me, so I took out my check book and started to write him a check,  but he said “Oh no.  Someone helped me out of a situation, now I am helping you.  Now it is your turn to help someone.  That is how it works”.  “Pay it Forward”  and that was long before that movie came out.   I have never forgotten that boy.  That night could have turned out disastrous, but angels were watching over me.  Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we all could help just one person or inspire just one person?     Anita
