Good Morning All or "Y'all" if your from Texas. lolIt is tree pollen time in the Houston area again. Another sure sign of spring. Yellow powder all over the place. Those of you that are not familiar with Texas probably picture TX the way you see it in Cowboy movies. On the contrary. The Houston area is very lush and green. What you see in those movies is West Texas where I have never been. We watched "No Country for Old Men" last night and that was filmed and took place in West Texas. I know it won the Academy Award, but mmmmmmmmm I don't know.Yesterday it was almost hot. 88 degrees. Too soon for that. Today in the 70's. Much more comfortable and Spring-like.I signed up online for the "National Patient Advocate Foundation". They said they will give me people in TX. I should get my packet in the mail shortly. I hope it is the type of thing I am looking for.I found out the other day about my ex-spouses SS. Yes I can collect if it is higher than mine, but it would only be 35% of what he would get at 62. There are incriments leading up to age 65 at which time I would get 50%. So I don't know if it would be worth it right now. I do have an appoitment on the 24th. At that time they will tell me the exact amount. They would not tell me over the phone.I am having to shave my legs again. I guess you have to take the good with the bad.
