Good Morning All or "Y'all" if your from Texas. lolIt is tree pollen time in the Houston area again. Another sure sign of spring. Yellow powder all over the place. Those of you that are not familiar with Texas probably picture TX the way you see it in Cowboy movies. On the contrary. The Houston area is very lush and green. What you see in those movies is West Texas where I have never been. We watched "No Country for Old Men" last night and that was filmed and took place in West Texas. I know it won the Academy Award, but mmmmmmmmm I don't know.Yesterday it was almost hot. 88 degrees. Too soon for that. Today in the 70's. Much more comfortable and Spring-like.I signed up online for the "National Patient Advocate Foundation". They said they will give me people in TX. I should get my packet in the mail shortly. I hope it is the type of thing I am looking for.I found out the other day about my ex-spouses SS. Yes I can collect if it is higher than mine, but it would only be 35% of what he would get at 62. There are incriments leading up to age 65 at which time I would get 50%. So I don't know if it would be worth it right now. I do have an appoitment on the 24th. At that time they will tell me the exact amount. They would not tell me over the phone.I am having to shave my legs again. I guess you have to take the good with the bad. I will be posting a picture of me with mostly white hair pretty soon. I want you honest opinions.Talk to you soon,Anita

Thanks for the info on Texas.............I have never been there...........lol..........boy 88degrees would feel hot to me right now!! we have been back down in the low 60\'s again this last week............Let me know what that \"patient advocate\" stuff looks like...........I am curious.........I don\'t want to devote the time to it with my health challenges.........but am really curious about it.............. looking forward to your new pic of your new hairdo too!!! I will give my honest opinion too...........hugs!!!
I will be hoping that the foundation suits you.. I do know that there is something out there for you with the experience you have had and that this could end up being a great career move for you.. fingers crossed.. I do know that none of this has been for nothing and that you will find a good use for it all... I\'m excited about seeing the photo.. and yes.. it has been great not having to shave or pluck.. but I can\'t say I\'ve been enjoying the baldness bit... the more I wear my wig the less I enjoy wearing it...

88 degrees sounds good to me right now - I\'m looking out the window at SNOW, but it\'s very pretty and I don\'t have to go anywhere today. Your foundation sounds promising - I hope it turns out to be something rewarding for you. Same for the ex-spouse SS - might as well get what you can, every little bit helps. Can\'t wait to see your pic with white hair (sorry about the shaving, though :-) I just noticed the other day that almost all the hair on my arms is gone! When did that happen?? Yeah, it is all the hair on your body. Eyebrows, eyelashes, and other unmentionable places. lol I am noticing little prickly stuble coming back on my arms.

Yeah, no kidding. I\'ll take the hair on my arms back, but could I please skip the legs and underarms? That can stay gome permanently as far as I\'m concerned! :-P
