Hi there.  It has been awhile.  Let me see.  Where shall I start.  Physically I am feeling pretty good.  I bought some sublingual B-12.  It is a liquid that you put a dropper full under your tongue.  It seems to be helping somewhat.  I actually felt like cleaning my house.  I can see the very beginings of peach fuzz on my head.  It is going to be totally white.  I had been dying my hair for years.  I am considering leaving it white.  Have to see how it looks and how I like it.  I have been keeping myself busy writing letters and making phone calls about my current situation.  I wrote an appeal to my former company's COBRA dept.  I also wrote a letter to the Dept. of Labor's Employee Benefits Security Admin.  They actually called me, then in turn she called the COBRA dept.  You see the payment was supposed to be paid by 12/01 and it would be 30 days late after the 31st.  I mailed it on the 31st and should have been post marked the 31st.  They have it recorded that it was post marked on the 2cnd.  They told her that if I could call the Post Office and have them state that it was their fault that it did not get post marked on the 31st they would reinstate.  I talked to one guy at the PO and he got very indignate saying that it is job to make sure that letters get post marked on the day you mail them.  I doubt I will get very far with that.  I also have been inquiring at the hospital as to what they do for indigant people.  Could not get through to the person I was suppose to talk to.  I will keep trying.  I am also looking into a discount program.  At the same time I am checking the job boards for the most perfect job. Is there such a thing?  So you see I have a lot of irons in the fire.  Oh!  I am also trying to find out if taking Prempro caused my OC and if so maybe I can get in on a class action suit.  I talked to one lawyer today who only handled breast cancer cases.  He said he will find me one who handles OCThe weather at lest has been nice today.  Sunny and 60.  Tomorrow it is suppose to be sunny and 70, but next week it supposed to be rainy and cooler again.  Typical Texas weather.  Up an down.  At least in the summer you know it will be 95+ every day. Well folks, will it be the Giants or the Pats?  Hilary or Obama? That is all for now.  Talk to you all later.  Lots of love and hugs to all of you.

Hi Anita,
It\'s so good to hear from you! You must be feeling better, as you are apparently quite the busy bee these days! Re: the post office - I\'d go to the post office where the Cobra pmt was mailed and ask to speak to the PostMaster of that station - not some rank-and-file hourly employee who could care less. Or call ahead and make an appt. Don\'t know if that would help but just an idea.
Good luck on the Prempro lawsuit - can\'t hurt to look into that. I\'m jealous over your weather - it\'s 40 degrees here! And that\'s warm for us right now! Take care, love and big hugs to you! LuEllen

Hi Anita,
I am so glad you are fighting this insurance it is so unfair. I wanted to let you know I was taking prempro when I was diagnoised with breast cancer in 2002. It was harmone receptive and a lawyer contacted me and wanted me to join a class action suit. At that time all I wanted to do was get the surgury and radiation over and didn\'t go for it. Not long after that they supposedly took that drug off the market. Now they are giving that drug again. I now wish I had done more about keeping that harmone off the market.
My hair came back curly and I was so excited, but the curl lasted about 5 months. Anyway I just wanted to say hi and let you know I am saying a prayer. Keep going with that postal worker go way over his head.
Lot of Hugs. Pat

That sublingual B-12 sounds like rocket fuel to me.. fantastic that you are so sharp witted and fighting fit, so soon after your treatment and with all these pesky problems landing on your head. You are an inspiration and a huge encouragement to me. Thank you, so much, for being here and showing the way to go.. wishing you more power to your elbow ( or mouse-finger, perhaps) Lots of love xxxxxx

Hello...Glad you are feeling better and getting things done that you need to. I know what you are going through. I just was notifidy that my life insurance policy was cancallled. They said they didn\'t received any payment but it was mailed in November when I had my surgery. Craig and I both are a little doubtful that it was lost. Kinda like the wheels are turning to someone elses drum like the insurance company. I\'m grateful it is only my life policy and not medical like you. I\'m keeping you in my prayers for them to cover those treatments. Have you been able to do a follow up yet. I\'m so glad you are feeling better. Hugs and love to you....Beth

I have not been to my follow ups because I don\'t know at this point how I will pay for it. The (excuse me for this) stupid receptionist, at my doctor\'s office asked me if I had applied for a \"Gold Card\" which is a county thing where you can get treatment at a county hospital, like Ben Taub down at the Medical Center in Houston. It is where all the drug addicts go, and all the stab wounds and gun shot wounds that happen over night go. Plus if you go down there to see a doctor you have to wait on line for hours. It would be hard to go to that after the wonderful care I was receiving. I will try other options before I go to that.

Glad that u are keeping busy...I know things will work out. You have great determination and gusto...I lOVE IT!!! It seems to me that your Dr. should see you anyway and worry about payment later, you were a patient there...you are still a person, It\'s unbelievable to me how insensitive people are...how the dollar rules everything.
