Well I had my last chemo session yesterday.  YAHHHH!!! smiley-smile.gif It went very well.  Feeling fine today, but I know on the third day I will be feeling my usual side effects, aches and pains in my lower back, the feeling of being feverish, tiredness and loss of appitite.  Oh and the itchyness.  Did not sleep well last nigh, I believe from the steroids.  They make me jumpy.  So I take anxiety meds.  No one tells you either that they put so many fluids in you that you are up all night peeing.  My CA 125 is down to 3.  So I am feeling very good about that.  I go back in three weeks for another CA 125. plus a CT scan, Chest exray and CBC.  If everything is ok I will do this every three months.  At least now my hair can start growing back.  I am very excited about that also.

Once I am feeling normal again, I will start looking for the perfect job. (is there such a thing)

I want to thank each and everyone of you for being so loving a supportive and helped me through the most difficult time in my life.

Anita

I am so excited to hear your results. The hair will grow back amazingly fast. I had my last chemo in Oct 06 and by Feb. 07 I felt comfortable enough to go without the damm thing. Stay well my friend. Mary

So pleased and smiling for you.... 3 is about my normal too and that is what I am aiming for... you give me greater hope.. thanks for being here and sharing this with fold like me.. helps loads..

After my first brush with CA I did some volunteer work for a while and got involved with the local homeless peeps.. I loved it there and evntually became employed by the Big Issue in Bath.. this led to my work at the hospital which I have also enjoyed loads, made lots of new friends and met and helped great people all day... felt all my skills were being put to good use... I\'m sure you will find something great if you just keep on looking for it.. best of luck when you start.. but I\'m so glad that you can have some time to get strong again.. your health comes first and then the job.. doesn\'t it? love to you Inka xxxxxx
