Well I started my new treatment yesterday. It is both taxol and coboplatin. I had been taiking taxol and cisplatin. From what I understand coboplatin is milder than cisplatin so I am hoping I won't feel as badly as I did. Plus it is a lesser amount. I will be taking it every three weeks. I just have two more to go. I am hoping to go back to work after the first of the year. I have had both my ports removed. We will not be using the stomach port any more plus I was having trouble with it. It was leaking plus it would bleed every now and then. The reason I had the chest port out was because at one point my left arm blew up like a balloon. They will now administer directly into my right arm. I hope this works out ok. I will write more later

I had taxol and carboplatin, and I did just ducky on it. Just the usual side effects, plus bone ache, which was alleviated by walking and exercising, although you had to literally force yourself to do it some days. It did stop the terrible bone pain Mary
