Update: I went to the Dr. again for another transvaginal ultrasound this time it showed a fetal pole but no heartbeat so I go back yet again this thursday. I am hopeful yet scared! The measurements said 3.4.mm & 3.6mm Im not sure what that means He said Im about 6 weeks... and I should have seen a heartbeat so he is not too hopeful..... prayers please , thank you all so much!

When I went at 6 weeks there was no fetal pole or heartbeat. I am 18 weeks this week! Stay positive!

I\'m not sure they saw much when I was 6 weeks. It\'s really hard to see, a fetal pole is a great sign! I\'ll be thinking of you.
I will be praying for you. At six weeks it\'s not uncommon to not see the heartbeat yet.
When I went in at 7 weeks my doctor didn\'t want to do the ultrasound because he thought that if I didn\'t see a heartbeat I would freak out. He said that at 7 weeks it is still so early that there is a BIG chance that it might not be visible yet. I begged him to let me see anyways & promised that I wouldn\'t freak out and he let me have the ultrasound. Sure enough there was a tiny flutter of a heartbeat. I would see the sign of a fetal pole this week VERY VERY promising. I\'ll be praying for you!
Big prayers to you from me. Hang in there. My best friend had the same exact thing in the beginning and today she has a very healthy 2 1/2 year old daughter. One good sign is there is a fetal pole, when there wasn\'t one before. Keep thinking positive. You may be a little earlier in your stage of pregnancy than what they think too, you never know. Here for you.

My RE tells us that at the 6 wk u/s that they are not expecting a HB, but primarily a yolk sac that is developed. 6 wks is really too early to say that something is wrong if no HB is seen. I am very hopeful for you & I will keep you in my prayers. God will answer prayers...don\'t forget that!
