Just when I thought things couldn't get worse... guess what!??!!My husband has had a stomach ache for 4 days. Finally yesterday I made him a Dr's appt. He had a slight fever and just this horrible pain on his left side. I went to the Dr's office with him. Our Dr asked him to lie down and she applied pressure to his left side and that didnt really hurt then she touched his left side and his entire body jolted!Well her first fear was appendicitas... no such luck! She sent us to radiology for a cat scan and it showed his appendix was fine. Scotts bowel were so inflammed and infected that they could hardly see anything else ( wonderful ). So now he is being reffered to a specialist. Our doc is pretty confident that he has crones disease or inflammatory bowel. This is a genetic auto immune disease, ha so if I dont give my child a translocation maybe he can give them crones , thats really not funny at all but Id rather lauph than cry anymore!I just feel like maybe this is Gods way of clerifying what he wants us to do. Maybe we should adopt or maybe we should just trust in him and keep trying. I dont know please just pray for us and I will do the same for you!

Will always be there for you in thought and prayer. Take one day at a time. Get your hubby better first and then go from there. Hey, if it was your calling to adopt so be it. I was adopted and I have a VERY close relationship with my parents. Wouldn\'t trade them for the world. Hang in there and if you ever want to talk you know I am here.
Like I have been saying today...the hits keep on coming...but, remeber we always get thru. Like Soojin said one day at a time! Be positive & optimistic about it until you know for sure. You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers! Take care of yourself too!
Remember that God does not always work in the ways that we think He will. Most people have genes that they would prefer not to pass on to their little ones, but unfortunately that is life and you shouldn\'t hesitate to enjoy children of your own because of that kind of fear. Keep trying and praying. God loves you and is listening. He knows, understands, and He will help you through.
I have also experienced much confusion from God recently regarding my last pregnancy. I felt for sure the baby was an answered prayer to our uncertainty...now I don\'t know what to believe! I prayed for an answer and I got an immediate pregnancy and a miscarriage...now what! Keep the faith hun...it will work itself out on God\'s time.
You definitely need my prayers. you and your husband will be in mine and my husbands prayers. You two take care of each other.
I hope your husband gets better soon. Try to relax and take care of each other. :)
My aunt has Chron\'s disease, and she had 7 children- none of them have it yet and they are all adults with their own kids.
I am so sorry for what you are both going through. My Uncle has Crohn\'s Disease. He was diagnosed about 15 years ago. The big thing that has helped him is a really good healthy diet, eating regularly, and keeping stress to a minimum. He is doing really well with it. Before doing all of this seriously, he was ill a lot. Best of luck to you.
