I\'m sorry you\'re not sleeping and I can definitely relate to that.. now I take some meds that help me sleep. I\'m glad that things are improving with your diabetes and the meals on wheels program sounds good. :) I\'m also thankful that you weren\'t affected by the flood. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and I really appreciate your friendship. Take care.

Sorry you haven\'t been able to sleep well.
These floods are AWFUL...but life and family together is more important than
the homes lost. Sandi in UT.
If I could catch a rainbow
I would do it just for you.
And share with you it\'s beauty
On the days you\'re feeling blue.
If I could build a mountain
You could call your very own.
A place to find serenity
A place to be alone.
If I could take your troubles
I would toss them in the sea.
But all these things I\'m finding
are impossible for me,
I cannot build a mountain
Or catch a rainbow fair
But let me be...what I know best,
a friend that\'s always there.

When I have a hard time sleeping, I wake up a lot during the night, instead of repeating one, two, three, I repeat Jesus, Jesus, and soon, my restlessness turns into rest....

I hope things get better for you , I am on 3 shots of insulin a day , if you get a low reading and it\'s too low for you , you can eat chocolate or other sweets to help bring it up , some people use orange juice or peanut butter

Not sleeping is so tough. The horrors of life seem to attack during that time.

But I\'m proud of you! You\'re still being active in life. You\'re still getting yourself to AA. You\'re still taking steps to maintain your health. These are all good things.

Keep taking good care of yourself. Sleep will come.

Ptsd events and sleep do not go well hand in hand.
I tend to isolate from people when there is an increase for me.
You have done such goodwill on this site by establishing such worthwhile groups.
You are giving back to others what goodness has come your way.
