I love reading your entry. And CONGRATULATIONS on the 17 years of sobriety!! I am so proud of you my friend. :) As for the elections, well I am thankful I am not American LOL!! But may the best candidate win and yes, anything but the current president. He\'s HORRIBLE to say the least. - Good luck with everything and hope you\'ll get better soon, well for all of us ppl out there being sick... gosh this has been a bad winter everywhere!

17 years sober you need to go out for a special treat, pat yourself on the back while you are doing some stretches before or after swimming. Great going. Doing a good job on your goals. God bless

Wow! You must be very proud of yourself... 17 years of sobriety. It takes a lot of strenght, belief and courage to stay the path and you have won. Honestly, I\'m so proud of you.

Sorry to hear you have been sick. It\'s been going around here where I live (California) and has not skipped anyone including me.

You know the elections are tough this year but I agree, Hillary appears to be the best bet. Each election I must admit I always feel the same, which should I vote for - it\'s always so complex because you don\'t know what or who to believe so you do your best and hope the decision works well.

Sorry to hear about your brother\'s injury but I\'m glad to hear he is well and still with us. My sister was in a terrible accident many years ago and they have her less than a 5% chance of even living and she is still with us. She has seizures that are controlled by medications but other than that, you would never know she was so close to death. God wasn\'t ready for her yet.

I know I\'ve said it before but let me say it again, thank you for protecting us and welcome home!
