the first aa meeting was held at my house five people so up so with me was six. we had a good time one was a new comer in treatment who came with is sponsor. he had only been sober a few days. it was a good meeting the name of the meeting is the plumwood terrace aa meeting. that where i live in plumwood terrace. it's going to be fun to have and aa meeting at my house. it's great since i was sick that aa came to me and a new comer that's what aa is for to help the new comer in becoming sober and a good member of aa. i him felling good accept for a shore thoat. lots of times its a sign of me coming down with a cold or a sinus affaction. i had a good time last night great followship after the meeting and we had coffee it was just great. the new comer wanted my telephone number and he give me is. that's great that what the program his about giving your number to a newcomer so he has someone to call if he is thinking of drinking and can not get a hold of his sponsor he has others to call. it felt good having a meeting has i had not been to one in over a month because of my bad health. that's how aa started meeting in peoples houses. instead of churches where most aa meetings are held today. its been a long time since i could tell you that i fell excellent.

THATS WONDERFUL.. I didnt know they had meetings at peoples homes.. i think people would feel more comfortable if they were on the shy side.. smaller meetings better .. At least that\'s how i feel about it.. i hope you are feeling better.. EAT AT NIGHT... PLEASE lOVE D

that is truly great, I think it is a good idea in the house...I can imagine that if you cant get out because of ill health that you would feel even more tempted so that is when you need the support the most.

I to didn\'t know AA started in Homes, its Great some are following the Tridition, I hope your cold dosent get to bad, If you can grab some Airborne,just a little bit really helps curb my colds. Thats great!!! The aspect of one alcoholic helping another who still suffers is the greatest thing. I know for me it was truly enriched my life to help fellow alcoholics and it has helped me to be so blessed that I was finally able to break free of its ugly grasp.
