i thought i would write in my journal since i haven't done it in awail. i have been sick again since wednesday . i have a lot of gas pain. tonight is the worst i him having pain on both sides of my chest all evening. i know it isn't my heart its from all this gas. it also could be some anxeity. i have had my heart check many times and it is always ok the va doctors see to ignore the pain unless i him sweating and having shortness of breath than i him suppouse to call 911 immeditly. i him going to give the doctor a call in mid week if i him not better. sorry i him going to have to change my face to horrible the way i have felt since wednesday.

You were good enough to serve your country and keep these so called doctors safe in their little beds with their pretty little wifes and children, but your treated like shit when you need help. Sorry about getting so worked up here, but it\'s just not fair the way you and all the men and women who protect this country are treated sometimes.

I agree with Keyz. You do deserve top treatment & the VA\'s need a wake up call. They are asleep at the wheel. They are failing to care for the men & women that they are meant to take care of. It makes me mad too. I had a good friend that was a vet that got jerked around in the VA healthcare system. Pain is pain & it is coming from something or somewhere. It doesn\'t take a rocket scientist to figure that out, you would think a doctor could figure it out. Can you see a different doctor there or something? Sorry for the venting my hostile feelings in your journal, but I really do hope you feel better soon & get the care you need. Take care of yourself. Elise
those gas pains can be terriable and make you feel like you are having a heart attack. but your dr\'s right unless your sweating and having shortness of breath then it\'s gas. has he given you nexium to take? that is a really good med. if he hasen\'t given it to you ask him for it. because it works great. i sorry that you ae in so much pain...xoxo...debbie
Seems to me the docs could do something about the gas pain. If it\'s this bad, there\'s no excuse for overlooking or ignoring it. Hopefully you\'ll begin feeling better. Don\'t wait till mid-week to call the doc if you still feel this bad!! Hugs!!, Trish
Hey Bro! Get on the horn to your Primary Care Provider or go to Triage, get someone to go with you to see the Director. The VA hospital I go to is the one that let the guy die outside because they refused to give him emergency treatment - this is the case that has caused congress to order the VA to now provide 24 hr treatment. (new thing that is currently in the news) Hope you find some relief and satisfaction.

hi sorry to hear that you have not been feeling good. I got some medicine that was prescribed by a GI doctor the name of the drug is ALIGN you can buy this over the counter if your drug store has it. I ordered mine from walgreen.com and you can go there and type in Align and it will tell you about it I paid $64 for two bottles that will last me almost two months. It is suppose to help your gut get back to normal. I haven\'t used it over 2 weerks but I think it is helping me some. You have to give this medicine awhile to do the job.
