A better day
Today is a better day. Not as much pain. Funny how much being in physical pain can make you think crazy things. Tomorrow will mark six months since we took my son off life support. It's amazing how so many days brings a painful memory. The day you got the call, the day he was taken off life support, the day he was born and the die he died. So many good memories, but so many bad ones, too. I know each day will get better. I just have to hold on. Every night I say a prayer and the first thing I ask is for God to give my son a hug and a kiss and tell him that I love him. And I feel him hug and kiss me in return. Thank you, ladies, for the support! It truly helps knowing Im not alone on this journey.

Would love to hear all about your son - whenever you are ready to tell. Hope you continue to have days with less pain. Amazing how much being in pain affects every aspect of our lives. I am sure your son sends your nightly kisses too. Hugs, Ann
Thank goodness for better days in the midst as that is what healing IS. None of us are meant to remain in acute grief for a lifetime, yet must remain there and go there for as long as is needed.
Hand in Hand and Heart to Heart we go,
