SOBER

I haven't been on this site much at all in the past year+. I was looking back at my first entries and remembering my battle with alcohol. I remember the struggle of trying to cut back, or quit for a short period of time. I always failed. I could NOT do it on my own. I will never be able to do it on my own. I have not had a drink since December 10, 2012. Not a drop. Not a sip. My life no longer revolves around my drinking and when I'm going to get the next one. As hesitant as I was about AA I knew I needed to stop and didn't know how....AA helped me. I never would have 2+ years sobriety under my belt without the fellowship. I am so thankful and grateful.
