Update

I do not even know where to begin in describing this week. My husband got denied unemployment. He has appealed it, but still. That is money that we desperately need that is not coming in at this point. I received my refund money from Financial Aid which went a long way in paying to fix my sister's vehicle that my husband is driving, as well as buying Christmas. But we are still going to be short on rent because of not getting unemployment and there are other bills we have to pay. Our rental company may let my husband work off what we owe by having him fix up some of the other apartments that they own while he is not working. I have my fingers crossed that next week he will be able to meet with someone from one of the last places he worked and they will give him a job in their department. That will ease my mind considerably.
My brother was hurt yesterday while working. He is okay, but he severely injured his arm and they doctor's believe he will have to undergo some sort of therapy in the future to regain the use of his thumb or something. I believe he said some ligaments were torn when he was injured. At least it isn't broken, though.
My birthday and Christmas are fast approaching. My Christmas shopping is done, except for some of the stocking stuffers, which I am getting today. I plan on making fudge or Peppermint Bark for the friends and family I was not able to get presents for. My husband, mommy, and myself have to get our pictures taken so that we can send them out with the Christmas cards. So many people have not saw us in years so we want to include updated pictures.
I cannot believe I am going to be 23 this year. And still way too overweight. For Christmas, I have asked for several things to help me lose weight. I am terrified of reaching 300 lbs. I do not have Health Insurance and my family is very poor. Somewhere inside of me is the the motivation I need to lose this 120 lbs, but finding it is proving to be even more improbable than losing the weight itself.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday Season. Remember that Family and Loved Ones are the most important gifts a person could have. I hope everyone stays strong and can continue working toward their goals this season, as I am trying to do myself.
