In most states, people get roaches in their houses.  In the Pacific NW, you get slugs in your house.  For the second time this month, I found a big slug by the back door.  I can't put poison down because of our dogs and cats.  My husband lived in a place many years ago that had the same problem.  That is a little about living in Oregon.
