After dating several crappy guys over the years and being married a couple of times, I've found out some what men really mean when they say stuff.When a man says, "I won't be gone that long" it means he will be gone all day.  When I guy says, "We will go do something.  I'll call you".  means I will call you if I don't find anything more interesting to do. Today is the first warm, sunny day in forever and my husband takes off.  He said he was going to take us  to the Tulip Festival.  Instead his 33 yr old son called yesterday wanting him to help put up siding.  My husband says, of course, "I won't be gone long".  I is nearly 2pm and he isn't home. Every weekend he either takes of all day or stays home being a grouch making my life miserable.  I don't have any gas in my car and he said not to use the debit card he gave me for awhile because it was low on money.  He is a huge disappoinment. Many times I really think it would be better to be dead.
