My son has been a moster most of the weekend. My husband was out most of the time with his brother helping one of their sisters. My son doesn't listen to me. He listens to other people. People blame me for spoiling him but I have tried very hard to get him to behave for me. He argues with me until I'm red faced and yelling. He can wear me down. He once nagging me for something for 8 hours once. At the end of this, I was basically insane. He is a very difficult child to raise.

Jenn, my 9 year old does the same thing, yesterday it was a comic book, begging and pleading and he got soo mad he pulled out his hair and said he wanted to die , over a comic book. I am soo tired of this I know what you mean my son listens to everyone but me. i am coming down from a bad weekend.
i find that kids from 7 to 10 are the hardest to deal with...they know better, but they also know how to push every button we have and don\'t mind doing so. they really deserve the name \"brat\" at this time! i know that doesn\'t help, but you aren\'t alone and it will get better, that\'s what i keep telling myself! big hugs
