It was a horrible day. My son and I went my step-granddaughter's party. My son acted like a complete brat. I was surrounded by strangers and virtual strangers. I'm not comfortable around people. I started to go into a manic episode so I went outside. I finally got a hold of my husband and told him what was going on. He said he would be there. I left with my son before he arrived. I'm home and I still don't know if he's be at his granddaughter's party or not.
The was a time in this country when family took priority. When grandparents cherished their grandchildren. Oh yeah, his son I adopted by my husband. Maybe that's why the party wasn't important to him because the grandchildren aren't his biologically.
It makes me mad that I have to do all the work. I have to be around my son all the time and don't get days off. I accept that as a mother. I would just like a little help in high-stress situtations. Instead I was just ignored.

okay...breathe just breathe. Try not to project...try to stay in the moment. Things become overwhelming when we think too much. You can handle the moment...of that I\'m sure. Don\'t be so hard on yourself. Love, Rita
