My husband had a bad day. It started last night. He likes to view internet porn. He has been fighting this but last night he caved. So this morning he felt guilty or something and was being very nasty. He yelled at my son about a paper mess he made in the car. He made me drive us to church and bitched about my driving. He gets to church with a surley atitude. After Sunday school, I tried to talk to him about it and he to ME to "chill out". I got mad and said something like, "look who's talking!" I got up and went to the lobby. He came out and said we were leaving and I refused. He we out to the car. I started crying and the pastors wife got someone to talk to my husband. We went to the sermon. After church, my husband apologized while crying. We went to lunch with my dad and his fiancee. We came home and I took a nap.
This happens almost every week and I'm sick of it! I don't know what I'm going to do. I just want to lay down and die. It feels like I'm constantly beating my head against a wall.

Im sorry you had such a bad day, I can see where you would get sick of dealing with that. Hang in there.
Does you husband straighten up when he gets to church? Just wondering. Sometimes it\'s interesting if they all of the sudden act right in front of the pastor and things like that, showing you that they can \"make a choice\" on their actions. I have learned that about myself too.
It sounds like your husband is really struggling with this and his guilt is taken out on you. The up and down thing is what I really relate to with you. They\'re good when they are good (our men) and when they are grouchy, it kills our souls. I know it does mine anyway. I wish I could offer you some help. Have you ever heard of Joyce Meyer Ministries. She\'s on the religion channels and I have been listening to her since 1996. Since 1999, when my husband and I were separated, I started buying her tapes. I listen to them every night with my earplugs on. It seems she hits the nail on the head of how I\'m feeling EVERY SINGLE TIME. Joyce has changed my life dramatically. She uses Biblical terms in practical every day life. She\'s real different from anyone else I\'ve listened to. The way she preaches/teaches is really interesting and every tape, CD, video I have of hers has a lesson I use in my everyday life. I truly don\'t know where I\'d be without her. You can even go to her website www.joycemeyer.com (I think it\'s changed but I think you can get there from this) and listen to her daily program on-line. If you like her, let me know and in a message I can get your address and send you some tapes. I have a couple of duplicates. I am not one to preach or push religion even though I am a christian, I am just not a GREAT christian... I wish I was. I pray all of the time and sometimes in my car will spend the whole time praying (when I go into town we live in the country). Joyce helps you to understand our own feelings and others. I can\'t explain it. If you\'d like, go to her website and just listen, I think she can help you. It\'s not a cure all, but such a comfort. She also helps you learn to handle things. Let me know, okay. I am so sorry you are going through this and I so understand. There are days I am so down and I\'ll put in a tape and it changes my whole perspective. Hang in there okay?
Im sorry things have been rough for you, is the pastor available for counseling of any kind?....That might help things a little bit.
i think you need more than a pastor for counseling. you need a qualified professional. (ps love that Joyce Meyer!!! she is tough stuff!!!)
