Moving on

So I have fully gotten over mu BFN now and just waiting for March to try again, I have asked the clinic last week what their thoughts are on a natural FET cycle instead of a medicated one. They said the success rates are similar and because I liver an hour and a half away the medicated sample is just easier because a natural cycle requires a daily blood test which means weekend drives to the clinic and they cannot schedule the thaw, its all dependant on blood results. This all came from the nurse, my doctor said before my first transfer when I asked why we were doing a medicated cycle when my cycle is so regular, that if it didn't work we may look at a natural cycle.
So I asked them to put it to her, I just feel silly just doing the exact same thing again even when I know its just really luck of the draw, it just goes against everything my brain thinks. Although I fshe says she thinks we should just go medicated I will be ok with that.
I am sort of worried about my eating and how much im gonna beat myself up about doing everything right this time, the most stupid thing about it all is that none of us really knows what it is that we have to do to make it work!!
I had some sad news this week, my MIL told me that her daughter, my SIL who is older than me (36) and has been ttc with her husband, was pregnant while I was in my tww, but she miscarried the day before I got my BFN, she didn't want to tell me while we didn't know my result and then she never got the chance. Its so sad, I feel awful for her. SHe has had multiple abortions and I always felt like i'd eb gutted if she fell pregnant before me , but when I heard this I was very sad for her and wish it could have been different for her, so I know I don't feel the same about her getting pregnant before me now.
Overall though, I feel pretty numb about it all, I don't feel like I have much hope for this next FET I feel like I will just carry on like nothing is happening and hope I get a surprise, I am planning for a BFN though, then I can only be pleasantly surprised!
My brother is getting married in September in UK and whether I go or not is entirely dependant on the results of iVF, so if it passes I will miss the wedding but if it fails I will have the wedding to look forward to so that's good!

I\'m glad you\'re feeling a bit better about things but I totally understand not wanting to get your hopes up. I will be praying and hoping for you. Don\'t be too strict on what you eat either. I really don\'t think it matters too much. I was going out to eat like every day for a week before transfer since we were out if town patients. Then in the TWW I was so nervous I just ate junk food and tried to get in some protein. Thinking of you!

I didn\'t hold that much hope for my FET after my failed IVF and now I am pregnant! Let\'s hope this one works for you. So sad for your SIL. Good luck with the FET in March!

I\'m glad you feel like you are over your last BFN and ready to try again. I know it\'s easier said than done, but really try to remain hopeful that this will work. Fingers crossed for you!!!

oh, I\'m so sorry to hear the news about the BFN, it\'s such a hard thing to live through - a BFN. Have hope for the FET. I eventually had to give in to the idea of hope with my FET after the failed fresh cycle. You\'re such a strong person and have been through so much. Huge hugs, sorry I\'ve been MIA.
