Awww, Peter - sorry to hear this; There are days when I feel the same (hopeless), but, I make myself try to look on the bright side. . . You know, there\'s always a bright side, right?> Just being alive and healthy is great! At least, you\'re healthy enough to be able to go to the gym; I can\'t do that. I have a treadmill here in my garage, but it\'s too fast for my legs. I don\'t even try to get on it, for fear of falling and getting hurt. Please look at it from that point of view, ok? My left side is still paralyzed and I can\'t walk without this plaqstic brace on my left leg! I\'m afraid that my brain isn\'t functioning at full capacity yet due to the enormous number of mistakes I make everyday of my life. I wish there was something else I can do to help you, but, this is it - talking to you and being a friend. Did you hear about that 20-yr old guy who was brain injured and recovered? Everyone\'s saying it was a miracle and the Vatican\'s supposed to be sendingg someone this week to verify the \"miracle\". This gives me so much hope, you know. Every night, I pray to God for a miracle - for me to heal completely and regain use of all my limbs and become usefull and productive again, to be able to live as normal a life as is possible. Most of all, for me to stop being a burden to my family and such.. Before my stroke, I was a huge contributor to my family\'s household; I had a fantastic job that enabled us to maintain a very good lifestyle. It was so great, until I had my stroke. Now, everything\'s changed and I\'m disabled. I\'m also in the process ofgetting divorced from my husband of 17 years. Life\'s been awful for me, to say the least. Please remember that there are others in much worse situations than you and, maybe that may help in lifting up your spirits some. Do you have other friends there in SanFrancisco? There have been plenty of times in my life when I thought that there\'s no point in living, but, somehow, I get back on track. Do you believe in God? Please pray to Him and see what happens. So far, He\'s been my rock; He\'s always been there for me and I\'m sure, He will be there for you also. It\'s all about attitude, I believe, and, of course, your faith in the Lord. Please hang in there, alright? And, if you need to talk, write to me. My email is ASibley1234@yahoo.com. You can write to me anytime. I\'d love to hear from you and chat. Well, take it easy and please keep your chin up, ok?
Love always,
Annie:)
