Dad, what would I do without this journal? I think I would go crazy. It is the only safe place i have to really be honest with myself, to let go of all the emotion that build up every day. Mum rang yesterday, you have been busy with her haven't you!!!She washed the car, even drove the car!!!!!!!! First time she has done that in so long, even the doctor said she had taken a small step forward. I have planted a seed in her mind, suggesting that all the trouble she is having trying to sell and mve could be your way of telling her to stay put! I also suggested that maybe when I was ready to retire that it wold be a nice place for me to move into.....sneaky, but I think it might be enough to get her mind onto staying put!I talked to her for about one hour, and she was sounding really good compared to how she was a few days ago, she is going to watch the football final with everyone at the community centre, she has your footy scarf hanging in the window, think she will enjoy the day. But it will be sad, not having you there to watch your team play in the final. I have decided that when we go down in October to visit everyone I will put some flowers at the World Trade Centre, in your honour, it was your dream, your vision, and you were the site architect... so I think a small bunch of flowers in your honour is the least I can do. Mum found all your work papers the other day, she got a bit worried, but now she has sorted out what to do...well, okay, what I can do to make sure that everything will be stored and kept safe. I'm not sure how to do it yet, so many buildings, so much information, maybe I will ring Peter and ask him the best way to sort it out. I have to write out a letter for everyone in the family, so that if the papers are needed everyone knows where they are, and what they detail. I know the papers have to be kept safe for the life of the buildings, so don't worry, they will be cataloged and stored for safe keeping. You sure did design building to stand the test of time!!!!! Mum found the Power of Attorney, she is sending me up a copy, so I will ahve to sort it out with Peter as well, he lost it in an office move. Well Dad, today I am feeling a bit better than yesterday, you have done a good job with Mum, she is sorry for what she said the other day. She even told me she was sorry..!!!!! a biggie for her!!!!!I love her Dad, but sometimes...I just want to *&@##$%&*^^^^*$#%^!&%$ her!!!!!!!!!!!!Today, hugs all round, I remember, I will keep on going, try to see the good in the bad days, and enjoy the good days.love you heaps Dadalways your little Margy
