This is my safe place. I can scream, cry, swear, kick the desk.....do whatever it takes to get me through the next few minutes, hours, days.I can and do talk to and lean on my husband, and he is a wonderful and caring man. He understand my pain at losing my Dad and tries the best he knows how to help me. I have found that parts of my grief are not something I want to share with someone so close, I feels my pain just as much as I do. I don't like to burden him with some things, so I come here and let loose.I can come and talk to you Dad, and no one need know, I can pass on your wisdom to others, although knowing me i will stuff it up, but I try to help others. You left a huge hole in our world here Dad, and you also left footstep. I try and walk beside those footsteps, I try and follow the examples you show me, I try and be the person I am ment to be. Most of all I try and do things that I know make you proud of me, but you never showed pride, you would just put your arm around me, give me a gentle kiss and tell me you loved me.
