Last night was so aweful.Precursor. About a week before our wedding we were moving our stuff into our new apartment. I bought a little shelve set up for our movie collection. Not many movies. Just a few from each of us. I deided to separate  them by genre. I took his horror movies and put them on one shelf with mine. I took his comedies and did the same with mine. It felt nice. Like the blending of two worlds. WHile I was doing this he walked into the room and asked "What are you doing? Shouldn't we keep them separated?" It caused a fight of course.on to the present. When my stbx got home from work I was drunk and happy. I was showing him the things I found and he was reading some birthday cards I bought and we laughed together. Then he brought up the movie collection. He asked if we could go thru it together and choose which we were each keeping. Since I was tipsy, I made a drink and plopped down in from of our entertainment center. "let's do it now!" I say. "Grab a box!" He sat next to me. We each grabbed a handful and started filing thru. "Varisty Blues?" "You take that one, How about Pulp Fiction?" "You can keep it, Oh and here is your Vampire movie..." on and on like this. Then I lost it. I started crying. He asked what was wrong. I told him I had a flashback. "I guess we shoulda kept em separated," I said. I cried for the rest of the nite. Of course woke up hungover. And today hasnt improved my mood much... I heard this song while I was at work. I think it fits. I like how positive it is.  Daughtry.  "Over You"Now that it's all said and done,I can't believe you were the oneTo build me up and tear me down,Like an old abandoned house. What you said when you leftJust left me cold and out of breath.I fell too far, was in way too deep.Guess I let you get the best of me.Well, I never saw it coming.I should've started runningA long, long time ago.And I never thought I'd doubt you,I'm better off without youMore than you, more than you know.I'm slowly getting closure.I guess it's really over.I'm finally getting better. And now I'm picking up the pieces.I'm spending all of these yearsPutting my heart back together.'Cause the day I thought I'd never get through,I got over you.You took a hammer to these walls,Dragged the memories down the hall,Packed your bags and walked away. There was nothing I could say.And when you slammed the front door shut,A lot of others opened up,So did my eyes so I could seeThat you never were the best for me.Well, I never saw it coming.I should've started runningA long, long time ago.And I never thought I'd doubt you,I'm better off without youMore than you, more than you know.

I know how these things can be. Of all the hurts,, large and small, sometimes it\'s something like this that tiggers real pain. I can understand it, actually. I have this feeling that the split is a little like grief. It\'s the end of something big and the ups and downs of grieving can be so unexpected and overwhelming. When is he leaving? Maybe you could plan something to make it easier for you. Like a trip, out of town! I think that\'s what I\'d do, I wouldn\'t want to be \"left\". I\'d leave first! But that\'s MY goofyness! Warm hugs.
