Wow :-(

They didn't quite have a category for this one... though sad and others might have suited earlier. Dad had a heart attack on July 28, the day after his gallbladder surgery. He has been in the accute coronary unit since then until yesterday when they moved him to the medical unit. There were problems with his heart rate racing from time to time and his blood pressure going up too. But things have stabilized. I went to Mom & Dad's to stay there so it would be easier to support Mom and visit Dad in the hospital. I know it is only an hour or so by bus from my place to the hospital, but I have anxiety issues on the bus. I also still have problems with kidney stones... that is the frustrating part. I passed a couple stones including a larger one the other day. I still have to get some blood tests done at the lab, but it is so hard for me to get out to get them done on my own. On the issue of goals, I am trying to keep up. Actually I am because I am writing in the two blogs now. I have been keeping up in The Gnomestead Stump, but I also have been writing a daily review in Blended Dreams. I am not sure if I should add the 10 or so to the articles I have done on the Stump. Anyhow, frustrating but not tragic... that is good right? Keep on Trucking! ~ Darrell Oh, for those of you on Dial-Up the latest article on Gnomestead Stump is "A Hunting We Shall Go - Looking for stuff on the Internet"
