I'm feeling blue today. I had a call from a close friend today saying her phone and computer would be out of commission for a few days. 
Not so bad, but I know she is moving out of town in a week or two and will be out of touch for who knows how long after that. Not too big a thing when you have an active social life.
But I get a bit isolated and really do not have so large a social circle - at least when you count people who live in town... in the province... in the country...
I'll get by and I'll be in touch with my friend. But for the day and for the moment I feel blue.

sorry darrell that you feel so blue. you can still keep in touch with your friend through the e-mails. i know what you mean about a small social life cause i have none.........debbie
I know it is why I feel blue for the moment, for today. I know I am blessed and lucky with friends. I wish I could share what social life I have with others. Meaning I know others have less of one than I have so I would gladly share.
Hang in there Darrell..please do not feel sad. Your friend will have her phone back up in few weeks. And you can always visit..??

My friend has her friend working again, at least for now until she is out of town. But sadly friends do leave and move on. They still stay friends and today you can keep in touch so much easier by Internet and Long Distance.
It isn\'t quite like those end of school fair wells when friend\'s families would move and you wouldn\'t see them again the next year at school or maybe ever.
So things aren\'t so blue. But life continues and we meet new friends and maybe have to continue some friends from a little further away.
