Today I went out and one thing I did was actually buy some allergy medicine. Now that I am on disability I actually have enough money. I got myself a packet of 18 x 24 hour Loratadine 10 mg (the generic store brand) Wow, for the first time in so very long my eyes are not itchy and burning, my ears are not blocked, and I can breath more freely.
Boy is that nice. The nose spray that is covered by my pharmacy plan works good enough for my nose and sinus but not the other symptoms.
We have a bumper crop of pollen allergens in the air right now too.

Its hard when the medication costs so much huh? I am glad you are on disability. In australia i am on a disability support pension. But not all of our medications are cheap. One that I want to try is called neurontin and at the moment I would be $60 out of pocket each month. :( and we just can\'t afford that...anyways have a nice day!
Hi Kylie, neurontin is really helping me for nerve pain with some atypical trigeminal neuralgia in the left side of my face and pain from diabetic neuropathy in my feet and some restless legs going with it. Not sure if it also helps with the neuropathy in my esophogus too. Luckily for me it is covered. I wish it was for you too. There are some other medicines that are somewhat like it? Topiramate is one... but I guess you have discussed this with your Dr.
